ANIMALS

This penguin swims 8,000 km every year to meet his human soul mate who saved him

In Brazil, we are not allowed to have wild animals as our pets because it’s against the law. But, no matter what the law might say, Dindim has come to live with his best friend since 2011. Dindim is a South American Magellanic penguin that was saved by Joao Pereira de Souza on the beaches of Brazil. During that time Dindim was covered with oil and close to death, but luckily he was saved on time by De Souza, and then released back to the sea after he felt better, but he didn’t want to leave at first. What makes De Souza surprise most is that Dindim has come back the next year and the years following. (h/t:  independent/ boredpanda)
