Rare mushrooms exposed by Steve Axford

Being an Australian and professional photographer, Steve Axford has great things to share for the botanists. Though his advanced lenses, he has captured some of the unknown mushroom species classified as Fungi by the experts. Most of his shots were taken in Northern River area of New South Wales in Australia. Species like Marasmius haematocephalus, Panus fasciatus, Campanella sp., and many more are shown as images in this wonderful website link. One cannot fail to appreciate these living beings from the plant kingdom. His passion has taken him to travel other places like Victoria and Tasmania.
