Vanny Ou, metal art work, design art and metal sculpture, was born in Kandal province, Cambodia. He studied Modern Sculpture at the Royal University of Fin Arts in Phnom Penh City and graduated in 2005. Nowadays, he is a professor at National Institute of Education.
“These sculptures are made of the old parts of motorcycles, cars and guns…etc. that I collected them from other junk shops. In order to shape a certain animal or object, I need to join each piece by welding and forging them together. The processes are so complicated, and I need to be patient to get the final results,” said Vanndy.
Vanndy has made many beautiful metal sculptures including elephants, Hanuman (Monkey King), Peacock, Naga (Dragon), The kouprey (a little-known, forest-dwelling, wild bovine species native to Southeast Asia) and more. He also added that using these recycled materials can help save the environment. So scroll down now to check out his amazing masterpiece. Source: Facebook
